Terms of Service
Last updated 29 August 2026
These terms govern your use of AssayProof. By using the site or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to them.
Who you are contracting with
AssayProof is operated by Ruel Ryan Rosal, a sole proprietor based in the Republic of the Philippines ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@assayproof.com.
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for every subscription. Paddle handles billing, invoicing and sales tax, and their terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
What the service is
- The calculators are free to use, need no account, and are available to anyone.
- The Method Validation & Verification Suite is the paid product: guided ICH Q2(R2), USP <1225>/<1226> and AOAC workflows that produce a report.
- Paid features are available while a subscription is active and in good standing.
Your responsibility for validation decisions
This is the most important clause on this page, so it is written plainly rather than in capitals.
AssayProof performs statistical calculations and formats them into reports. It does not decide whether your method is fit for purpose. Acceptance criteria, the suitability of a study design, whether an outlier may be excluded, and whether a result satisfies a regulator remain professional judgements that belong to you and your organisation's qualified personnel.
You are responsible for reviewing every number the service produces before relying on it, and for verifying that any acceptance criteria used match those your laboratory has justified. Default criteria offered in the product are conventional starting points, not regulatory requirements.
AssayProof is not marketed as compliant with 21 CFR Part 11. It does not provide electronic signatures or the validation evidence such a claim requires.
Accounts
- You must give accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account is for one person. Ask us about Team if colleagues need access.
- We may suspend an account that is being used to attack, overload or abuse the service.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Paddle. Prices are shown on the pricing page and include any VAT or sales tax Paddle is required to collect: the figure on that page is what you pay, and your invoice shows the tax broken out within it. Where a rate differs by country, the tax portion changes and the total you were shown does not.
You can cancel at any time. Refunds and cancellation are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Your data
Study records you create belong to you. We do not sell them, and we do not use their contents to train models. You can export any study as JSON or CSV at any time. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to breach, overload, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission.
- Do not resell or redistribute the paid product's outputs as a competing service.
- Do not use the service where its failure could cause injury, or as the sole control on a safety-critical decision.
Availability
We aim to keep AssayProof available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and faults happen. Free calculators are provided as-is with no availability commitment at all.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or business, or for the outcome of any audit, inspection or regulatory decision.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are breached, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give notice by email or in the product before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
